This is our other horse, Gozan. Gozan is wearing a hobble to ensure that he does not run away. The horses enjoyed getting out on the lawn and eating the fresh grass.

Today we let our horses out to eat up the grass. this one is named Winchester. The dog's name is Abby. The Average riding horse eats more than 20 lbs. (9 kilograms) of food a day.

These are buds on the maple tree if my front hard. Although we are experiencing spring weather, you can see Mt. Spokane is still capped with snow in the background.

a crocus wildflower

I spotted this wildflower growing in our yard. This is a macro shot of it. Today it warmed up to 70° F (21° C) in Spokane Washington.

I was taking pictures of the Puget Sound when this train pulled around the corner, I turned in time to get this shot.

got the ball

This dog made a lot of splashes while retrieving the ball that his owner threw into the ocean.

This is further down the beach from yesterdays post. I found it interesting that these trees were growing at an angle.

I have always admired oceanfront homes, My only question is, do they have high speed internet access ?
This beach is a 3 minute walk away from My Grandma's house.
